A little history
Since the 19th century
Our establishment has been in existence since the 19th century and the photo on the right dates from the 1900s.
The 13th arrondissement was then an industrial district: large companies and smaller ones coexisted, such as Begin Say sugar, Panhard & Levassor automobiles, Gnome and Rhône aircraft engines, the Grands Moulins de Paris, carpentry, tanneries and many other sectors of activity.
These companies needed a lot of manpower, so the provincials, the future workers, went to the capital and the most modest among them stayed in the hotels with minimal comfort of the time.
